Every day hundreds of research papers are released, an absolute tsunami of groundbreaking information that society leaves most of these innovations untouched. With every new model we inch closer to a post-scarcity world, where novel information is ubiquitous—will we be able to capitalize on it? Or will we have to develop a new AI to filter through all the new proofs being churned out like pop tarts? It'll obviously be a useful tool, but I wonder if we'll outpace our ability to absorb the knowledge.
Personally, I feel naked and scared. The idea of such abundance and innovation leaves an cloudy figure where I'll exist within this mess. I've never won the IMO at any age, I wonder if I'll have any place to exist within the future.
