Thank you so much for this article. This is exactly what I was looking for when I stopped listening to the Telepathy Tapes after episode three. I’m surprised you didn’t touch on the case of Anna Stubblefield, that’s the most damning indictment of facilitated communication that I’ve come across.

Amazing article. I’ve been thinking about this rejection of reality phenomenon through the proliferation of nocebo communities recently.

When I was in university, at a house party, I was having a conversation about how I thought there was a form of real karma but that I thought that it perpetuated through non verbal communication and micro expressions. The guy I was talking to in hushed tones told me to read a book called ‘The Field’ by Lynn Mctaggart.

It had similar concepts and vibes to what you’re talking about. The part about the nonspeakers communing on a hill or something reminded me of it. It references quantum entanglement for some legitimacy too. I must admit I was enthralled and read the whole thing fairly quickly. There’s something about it and after reading this article I get the sense of a common myth that perpetuates through human history and is quite powerful.

I bought a book about quantum mechanics and my enthusiasm died pretty quickly.

It is unfortunate but I’ve recently become resolved to be a killer of these irrationalities when they come up. They always help the holder in some immediate way so you look like a dick when you quash them but it’s just bad for everyone if you don’t speak up. Speak up.

Not like all the time but stomp some dreams. It’s your duty.
